This policy explains how At Kent House Limited ("At Kent House", "we", "us") collects and uses your personal information when you visit our website, book an event or contact us.
Who we are
At Kent House Limited is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at info@kenthousehandh.co.uk.
What we collect
Booking details: your name, email address, and (if you choose to give them) your phone number and any message you add when booking.
Payment details: your billing name and address. Card payments are processed securely by Squarespace Payments. We do not see or store your full card number.
Messages: anything you send us by email, for example a private event enquiry.
Website usage: basic information about how our website is used, collected by Squarespace through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use it
To take and manage your booking, send your confirmation and contact you about your session, including any changes (to perform our contract with you).
To handle cancellations, transfers and refunds (to perform our contract with you).
To reply to your enquiries (our legitimate interest in running our business).
To keep financial records and meet our legal and tax obligations (legal obligation).
We will only send you marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
We use Squarespace to run our website, take bookings and process payments, so your information is held on Squarespace's systems on our behalf. We may also share information with our professional advisers (such as our accountant) where needed. We do not sell your personal information.
Squarespace may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, it is protected by the safeguards required by UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and payment records for as long as we need them for accounting and tax purposes (usually six years). We keep enquiry emails only for as long as needed to deal with them.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To make a request, email info@kenthousehandh.co.uk.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
